Isn't it amazing to find a great source for your genealogy research.

Ancestors born in Arizona between the years of 1887 and 1931 can be found.

Also, if you are searching for death records, these are now available for the years 1878 through 1956.

Try a search for surname only to get the largest results.

You can search for a mother or father name if you don't know the child's first name.

With a little bit of picking around on the internet I found another website for Arizona Cemeteries.  Yavapai County has some records available online and others only at the Sharlot Hall Museum.

If you are looking for any ancestors buried in Arizona and you haven't found them yet… go on and click on this link.

You have to hand it to those volunteer types.  The Arizona Cemetery Project is all provided by donated time and materials.

I have been participating in the Yuma Cemetery project off and on for years. It is a ton of work, documenting and taking a photograph (that can be read) for each grave stone. The cemetery is just sand and many of the stones are broken, missing or lost in a drift of sand.

It is gratifying to get an email from someone who is across the country and has now located their ancestors grave.  …. And they have a photo as well.
